Procrastinater

OK I admit it I am the queen of procrastinating!
I started this blog and several times have startedto do a new blog and than through my mistakes deleted everything all heartfelt that I had typed. So I got discouraged and have not been back.
So much has happened since the last/first post. Let me see if I can summarize it all.

May 2009: Well we did end up having to take my baby girl Cloe to the vet and have her put to sleep. The vet said that she had Kidney failure
and that it was the humane thing to do.
Here is her grave.

June 2009: Daben and I ended up going out to Missouri to visit my Dad and Valerie. It was a great trip, got to see family and hang out with Dad. When we got back I went to dinner with a friend a few days later and had to run an errand. I ended up going into Pet Smart (I know dumb dumb thing to do). I thought that I would be OK because they don't have pets on the weekdays (it was a Wednesday). I ended up walking by the cat room (yes they have cats ALL the timed) and this little kitten "meowed" at me, and I was officially taken. Here she is, little Pia.

I immediately called Daben and begged to bring her home. And he said OK. She is part Manx and has a docked tail ( I call it a nubbin). We also
made a lease to own agreement with my best friend and we are moving into their house (they are moving to a more spacious home). So at the end of this month we get to move!! Daben's stepbrother is also going to be a roommate.

July 2009: We moved!!! And are in our shiny new house! Through the generosity of wonderful friends I could not be more grateful. Here it is!!

The last half if the year was full of much drama and stuff, we did come out surviving though.
I will update more on the happenings of 2010 later (hopefully not a year later) haha!!

Something different

Ok so I thought that I would try and do this blog thing.. Haha In the past I have not been so good at things like well writing.. Just ask any of my friends. But I also know that sometimes it can be very theraputic to write. So I am calling this "a journey to me". It will be the random thoughts and musings of my journey.

Today's goings on:

So last night I was laying in bed and reading and as per normal my beloved kitty Cloe came up to lay by me. I looked over and noticed that her skin is turning yellowish. *sigh* Needless to say I did not handle it well rapidly declining into uncontrolable sobs. Poor Daben did not know what to do other than hold me.
Let me start by saying that I got Cloe around 1998, and when I got her based on her size she was about 1 or 2. So I know that she is getting older.
Recently she has all but stopped eating... And she is cold all the time. When I get home she is right there to sit in my lap or next to me. I just don't know what to do. She is part of the family and she still has her kitten like things that she does. I will keep updated on whats going on.
